Here's what our Racers have to SAY:
"I had a very enjoyable time yesterday. Honestly, I'm a trail runner and not a big fan of hyped-up "events" like these, but I have to say I was quite impressed with what you pulled off. I've run literally more than 1000 races, and I've directed dozens of high school cross country meets and other races, so I should have a good sense of what it takes for a successful race. The first thing I noticed is that you had a very labor-intensive course with tons of turns and intersections. However, your ample signage and flagging ensured that there was pretty much no chance of running the wrong direction, and I was floored by the number of very enthusiastic volunteers directing runners and controlling intersections. I didn't see any traffic conflicts whatsoever. Of course, you expended a great deal of effort putting out thousands of cones and dozens of encouraging signs, which even though I'm typically not the kind of runner who needs such a thing, were nonetheless cute and amusing. Thanks also that you had good post-race snacks and relevant vendors (my company was a sponsor of your summer series).
Thanks again for a very well-staged race!"
"Wow! Bravo! The Prairie Dog Half run today was not only an exception...al, if not challengingly hilly race, but an extraordinarily well organized and incredibly friendly runner-focued race. My husband and I could not be more impressed with your organization. The administration and communication from registration to finish was simply smooth and perfect. The bling was great, and we really appreciated all the good food you provided after the run. One thing we LOVE is that you guys pull the drawings during the race and post them with the results. Although we do hang out after we cross the finish line, being able to do so freely and check the winners list is so valuable. You wouldn't think so until you are freed from the drawing shackles. LOL We were also so appreciative that Gravity Brewery provided a free brew after the fact. It was really nice to have a real craft beer rather than a domestic light (although we are always appreciative). Thank you again for all your hard work and for including the great sponsors you had. I found a new running skirt and compression pant provider that I know I will be thrilled with. This is the kind of stuff you LOVE at an expo and run!"
